Privacy policy

Crumb & Co. ("we", "us") is a small cottage food bakery in West Palm Beach, Florida. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website and how we use it.

What we collect

When you order, create an account, leave a review or send us a message, we collect what you give us: your name, email, phone number, delivery address if you choose delivery, your order, notes, review text and any photos you upload.

If you choose a password, we only keep a one way scrambled (hashed) version of it. Nobody at Crumb & Co. can see it; if you forget it, use "Forgot your password?" to set a new one.

We also keep basic technical information to run the site and prevent abuse of discounts and referral codes, such as a cookie that identifies your browser and a one way scrambled version of your IP address.

How we use it

To make and deliver your order, send receipts and order updates by email, run your account and referral rewards, show approved reviews (with your first name and last initial only), answer your messages and keep our books. We never sell your information. Your phone number is only used to reach you about your order.

Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe through our secure checkout. We never see or store your full card number. Zelle and Venmo payments are handled by those services, and cash is paid in person.

Who helps us

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. Email is sent through our email provider, and our back office and payments run through Sea Grape Labs and Stripe. They only use your information to provide those services to us.

Your choices

You can update your details in My account, and ask us to delete your account by sending us a message from the contact form on our home page. We keep order and payment records as long as the law requires for bookkeeping.
